Mayorga Establishes The Mayorga Latino Leadership Scholarship at Montgomery College
ROCKVILLE, Md., Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin Mayorga, an alumnus of Montgomery College, and co-founder of Mayorga Coffee, has established the Mayorga Latino Leadership Scholarship at Montgomery College with a major gift to the Montgomery College Foundation. The Mayorga Latino Leadership Scholarship will support need-based scholarships for Latino students who are business majors at Montgomery College. The gift will cover annual tuition for one student per year for at least five years. More than 3,400 Latino students currently attend Montgomery College.

Martin Mayorga and Mayorga Coffee are well-known for their philanthropy to sustain the environment, while supporting local and international communities. "I know first-hand the struggles associated with struggling to pay for a quality education," said Mayorga.
