Mayor Ramona Louis Fast Tracks Tatums For Growth

TATUMS, Okla., March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- While it may seem a quiet Town situated in Carter County, Oklahoma the Town of Tatums is fast tracked for growth.  The Honorable Mayor Ramona Louis and Clerk, Lovie Carter enjoy sharing the history of this Black Township.  

Like most small towns, it has much charm. The Leadership is developing and implementing new strategies and tactics.  After appointing Annette Colbert-Latham, CEO of Visage Production, Inc. and her team, husband Melvin Latham as their CDBG Grant Administrators the plans are laid.  They brought in Robert V. Pierce recently retired from FAA – Mike Mahoney Aeronautical Center as an additional Consultant. 

The team works closely with Roger Pulley, Regional Economic Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and other State Government Agencies.  The Town is developing site ready selections to court major Corporations to consider placement.  "The feedback and insight we are placing presents its challenges," shares Mayor Ramona Louis.  "Yet they are needed for the health of our citizens and community," adds Clerk Lovie Carter.

On the horizon is the inclusion with neighboring Towns and Cities to be a part of the synergy.  "Towns and cities that have dynamic Industrial Development Authorities are best situated for Oklahoma to lead," explains Annette.
