Mayor Rahm Emanuel to Welcome India's Ambassador Rao and Ministers Sharma, Shinde, and Abdullah at The Executives' Club's U.S.-India Economic Summit on September 20th

CHICAGO, Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago will be the site of the U.S.-India Economic Opportunities and Synergies Summit hosted by The Executives' Club of Chicago on Sept. 20, with a kick off by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and leaders from India. This one-day program is designed to bring together policy-makers and global business leaders to examine growth opportunities for American and Indian businesses and to strengthen relationships between India and the U.S.

The U.S.-India Economic Opportunities and Synergies Summit is the third of four summits hosted by The Executives' Club in 2011 to celebrate The Club's Centennial Season. All four summits are designed to provide information and resources to support effective global partnerships, enhance intellectual exchange, develop future diverse business leaders, and promote Chicago as a world class business center. Over twenty prominent U.S. and Indian leaders will be speaking at the summit representing the U.S. Cabinet, mayors, governors, CEOs and other business leaders from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin and Washington D.C in attendance.

The summit is presented in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and in collaboration with The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and The Delhi Committee of Chicago Sister Cities.
