LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- House of Blues Entertainment, a leader in presenting new artists, and Journeys, one of the foremost specialty teen footwear retail chains, have teamed to present the first ever "The Noise Tour, Powered by Journeys," headlined by Mayday Parade, it was jointly announced today by Aaron Wilson, House of Blues Entertainment vice president of marketing, North American Touring and Kari Irons, Director of Marketing for Genesco Retail, which includes Journeys, Journeys Kidz, Shi by Journeys and Underground Station.

In addition to Mayday Parade, We Are The In Crowd will also appear on the bill. Other performers include You Me At Six, There For Tomorrow and The Make.

As part of the collaboration with House of Blues Entertainment, Journeys will offer a contest for a trip to the final tour date. There will also be in-stores at specific Journeys locations where fans can meet the bands in-person.
Hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, ILG Records, recording artists Mayday Parade will release its third album, also called Mayday Parade, October 4, 2011. In 2010, Songkick named Mayday Parade as the hardest working band of the year, with 194 bookings and 74,000 miles on the road. MTV's "GirlsGonePunk" called the band's debut CD, A Lesson in Romantics "the best album to come out this year"- (2006)." The video for When I Get Home, You're So Dead got more than 75,000 hits in two days when it premiered on the front page of MySpace Music. It went on to sell more than 170,000 copies and reached the Top Ten on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Since then, Mayday Parade also released a six song EP, Valdosta and headlined the Ernie Ball Stage on the "Van's Warped Tour" 2010.
Formed in 2009 and signed by Hopeless Records shortly after, We Are The In Crowd released their first single, For the Win, this past spring and Guaranteed to Disagree, their first debut EP, last June. The Poughkeepsie, New York natives performed at the summers "Vans Warped Tour" in 2010. We Are The In Crowd will release its debut LP, Best Intentions, in October 2011.
