MaxMD Partners with New Jersey Health Information Technology Extension Center (NJ-HITEC)
Providing secure product suite for the Direct Project initiative

The Direct Project is an initiative to provide healthcare professionals with an affordable, secure means of exchanging health information over the Internet.
As a trusted advisor to New Jersey physicians, NJ-HITEC assists in the selection, adoption, and implementation of innovative Health IT solutions that meet the needs of the medical community to improve the quality of healthcare delivery to all patients. MaxMD has entered into agreement with NJ-HITEC to supply its Direct messaging solutions and secure product suite in pursuit of reaching the Meaningful Use and Direct Project standards of New Jersey.
MaxMD was evaluated and selected on the basis of Direct messaging functionality and framework. As an accredited HISP, MaxMD was a logical choice for NJ-HITEC. MaxMD boasts a full accreditation with the Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP) for HISP, CA and RA from DirectTrust.org and the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC).
