MAXIMILLIAN GALLERY Announces 2010 Speed Racer™ International Art Competition

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- MAXIMILLIAN GALLERY, art licensors and gallery of emerging, celebrity talent and properties, is pleased to announce its 2010 Speed Racer™ International Art Competition.

Accepting submissions from August 10, 2010 through October 31, 2010, artists of all ages, ranging from emerging to established, are invited to submit new works re-imagining the classic Speed Racer art. Art categories are painting, drawing, photography, digital, print, sculpture and video.

Winning entries will be eligible for sales representation, publication as a limited edition print and perhaps even be licensed for use on products and apparel. The competition offers valuable exposure for artists and their art with a panel, public and founder's vote and numerous opportunities for all entrants, including unprecedented recognition and exposure to the art world, mention in press releases, potential inclusion in a Speed Racer exhibition, and exposure for their existing art, as well as the new Speed Racer art they create.
