Maxim Healthcare Services Announces a New President and Chief Financial Officer

COLUMBIA, Md., June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. (www.maximhealthcare.com), an established provider of home healthcare, medical staffing, and wellness services, recently announced promotions within its executive management team. William "Bill" Butz is now Maxim's president and Raymond Carbone its chief financial officer.

Butz joined Maxim as chief financial officer after successfully serving as CFO and president of Erickson Living. He was responsible for the company's operations and continuum of care for primary physician practices, skilled nursing, and home health services. During his time at Erickson Living, he also instituted a special project management office to share ideas, industry best practices, and drive employee engagement. Prior to leading the team at Erickson Living, Bill worked for Allegis Group for 15 years where he held various financial leadership positions, including CFO of Aerotek; Allegis Group's largest operating company.

Bill and Ray have partnered together throughout their careers and have continued to do so successfully at Maxim.

Ray initially joined Maxim as vice president of finance shortly after Bill's arrival. He is now responsible for leading financial operations and activities for Maxim, as well as establishing and monitoring financial plans and budgets for the company. Prior to joining Maxim, Ray was the CFO for Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), which was acquired by Allegis Group in 2008 and is now the world's largest and most experienced legal search firm. Prior to joining MLA, he served as the CFO of Stephen James Associates, a professional accounting and finance recruiting firm that is also part of the Allegis Group. He has also held a variety of financial and operational leadership roles with Allegis Group and their largest operating company, Aerotek, for more than 16 years.
