Bob Irwin was formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sterling Commerce, an IBM company, where he was responsible for driving company vision, growth, and profitability. In this role, Irwin was focused on reshaping Sterling Commerce to lead the company’s evolution to a major player in the enterprise software market. He provided strategic leadership in articulating the company vision, transforming the company’s software delivery efforts, and building strategic partnerships. Prior to being named CEO of Sterling Commerce, Mr. Irwin served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
After several months of searching, Michael McCloskey, chairman of MaxID, said that the board of directors selected Mr. Irwin based on his remarkable track record in leadership and sales, as well as strong executive and personal qualities. “We are very pleased to welcome Bob Irwin on board at MaxID.
