The Institute's medical team is comprised of 45 people led by Dr. Pradeep Chowbey. They bring with them an accumulated experience of over 48,000 laparoscopic and bariatric surgeries spanning over two decades. The team has been at the forefront to develop and expand the frontiers of minimal access surgery in the country and beyond.

Dr. Chowbey, was featured in the Limca Book of Records from 2000 - 2009, for having performed the largest series of laparoscopic biliary surgeries (over 50,000).
