Maurel & Prom Nigeria – Operational Update
PARIS, January 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
It was reported by Seplat Petroleum Development Company Ltd, the operator company of OML 41, that the outbreak of fire on two of the supply flow lines from Ovhor-2 well had impacted production earlier this week.
The corresponding well was shut in and the fire extinguished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Normal production is expected to resume shortly.
