Maui Jim Launches Curated Collection Made in Collaboration with Internationally Renowned Maui Artist, Charlie Lyon

The classic frame lines of each style are elevated with Lyon's detailed triptych paintings made up of three separate canvases that showcase a single story of animals, natural elements and the rhythm of Maui's active ocean lifestyle. The Curated Collection, available February 12, offers three different color options including, Black Gloss, Navy Blue and Tortoise to give wearers a piece of Maui and offer an effortlessly stylish look that fits into any look from the coast to the city.

Lyon began his career at a young age painting surfboards for Freeline Design in Santa Cruz, California. He moved to Maui in 1991 where Hawaii's natural beauty continues to inspire his paintings that highlight nature's elements such as wind, waves, and wild life.

About Charlie Lyon
Charlie Lyon was born in 1962 and raised in California. As the son of two artists and the youngest of five, Charlie grew up in a household that encouraged creativity. He began his art career in 1979 and expanded in the Action Sports Industry to logos, point of purchase displays, advertising layouts, and corporate identity projects. He has devoted his work entirely to painting since 2001 and has sold over 500 works in his palm tree series to collectors from around the world.  His work is part of the Stanford University Hospital Collection and has been featured in The Korean International Art Fair, The Honolulu Contemporary Museum, and The Schaefer International Gallery.
