Matthew Samford, CPA Promoted to EVP Finance at Vortex Companies

HOUSTON, Jan. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Vortex Companies recently announced that it has promoted Matthew Samford from Corporate Controller to Executive Vice President of Finance. Samford graduated from Texas A&M University's, Mays Business School in 2003 and holds both a Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Finance. He has been a licensed CPA in the state of Texas since 2005. Prior to joining The Vortex Companies in 2016, Matthew was an audit manager at a Big 4 accounting firm, before transitioning into the construction industry.
