CLEVELAND, Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Matthew J. Samsa has joined the Business Department at McDonald Hopkins LLC as an associate. He will primarily practice in the area of mergers and acquisitions. Before joining McDonald Hopkins, Samsa was at Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP for four years.

Samsa has worked with a variety of clients on a wide range of transactions, including stock acquisitions, refinancing of credit facilities, asset acquisitions, and asset sales. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2008 and earned a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Cleveland State University in 2005.
