With over 15 years of banking experience, Clatworthy was instrumental in executing Woodforest National Bank's branch growth strategy in 2005 when the bank expanded outside of its home state of Texas. As a community banker in Charlotte, NC his responsibilities encompass the overall operations and performance of the North Carolina division including customer experience, small business and community development, regulatory compliance, sales, and employee performance management.

He is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling. He and his wife live in the Lake Norman area near Charlotte.
