Matt Wolff to Lead Texas Operations for Beacon Health Options

BOSTON, July 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Beacon Health Options (Beacon), the nation's premier behavioral health company, announced today that Matt Wolff has been named the chief executive of ValueOptions of Texas, Inc., a Beacon operating company. In his senior leadership role as Texas NorthSTAR Vice President, National Client Partnerships he is responsible for managing the Texas NorthSTAR contract and overseeing the delivery and coordination of the mental health care and substance use disorder services for the contract's 900,000 consumers residing in seven counties in the Dallas area.

Mr. Wolff joins the company from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Dallas, where he served as Director of Development and Public Policy. He began his career working for Texas State Senator Bob Deuell, serving as both a legislative aide and a regional district director. From 2012-2014, he served in an adjunct capacity on the Texas Department of State Health Services Council for Advising and Planning for the Prevention and Treatment of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. Mr. Wolff has served on the board of directors of the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority, representing Hunt County, since 2009. He also works as a therapist in both private practice and inpatient hospital settings. Mr. Wolff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University and Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Texas A&M University−Commerce.
