Matt Hull Appointed to Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas Advisory Council
DALLAS, Dec. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Hull to FHLB Dallas' 2015 Advisory Council. His three-year term begins January 1, 2015.
Mr. Hull is executive director of the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations (TACDC), a trade association that represents community development corporations, nonprofits, and government organizations that are deeply involved in community development. For the past 13 years, he has worked in affordable housing and community development in Texas.
"Mr. Hull has witnessed first-hand the transformative power that safe, affordable housing can have on individuals and families," said Greg Hettrick, vice president and director of Community Investment at FHLB Dallas. "He also has come to appreciate FHLB Dallas' role in providing capital for affordable housing and community development projects."
Mr. Hull said he is honored to serve on the Advisory Council of FHLB Dallas.
"With the strong connections I have in the field, I am confident that I can help increase awareness of FHLB Dallas and strengthen the ties between community outreach organizations and financial institutions, which can help them achieve their goals and objectives," Mr. Hull said.
The Advisory Council is comprised of 13 representatives from state, community, and nonprofit organizations that advise the Bank's Board of Directors on affordable housing and economic development issues.
