TEL AVIV, Israel, May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Global media company Matomy (LSE: MTMY, TASE: MTMY.TA), today announced that Gil Klein, the company's Executive Vice President of Media and a member of the executive management team, has been promoted to Mobfox Managing Director. Drawing on a wealth of experience, Klein will be responsible for leading the data-driven mobile advertising platform, in keeping with the company's strategic restructuring to focus on such core activities. The newly created role coincides with Mobfox's launch of the platform's latest data-driven features and SSP mobile publisher suite for display, video, and native advertising.
Gil Klein joined Matomy, then called Xtend Media, in 2008, and held a number of positions in the company including Director of Media Buying, VP Performance and Sales, and SVP Advertisers before becoming EVP Media in 2015. In addition to these roles, he assisted with several of the company's acquisitions, including the acquisition of Mobfox in 2014 and has led all business aspects for Mobfox over the last two years. Klein holds an MBA in International Management from the College of Management and a BA from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
"After spearheading Matomy's media activities and watching Mobfox grow to become one of the leading solutions in the market following its acquisition, I'm very excited to take on the role of Mobfox Managing Director," said Gil Klein. "Mobfox connects to the leading app developers, DSPs, and mobile demand sources in the world, and we will add more to our growing list as we continue to develop industry-leading, data-driven technology and expand globally, with a focus on the USA and APAC. Mobfox's future is bright—this year specifically, we're offering advanced tools and a full-stack solution for developers to support the growing demand from our advertiser and publisher partners."
