Match 6 Jackpots Won in Montgomery and Lehigh Counties
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Jan. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket sold in Montgomery County won a jackpot worth $2.16 million for the Friday, December 29, drawing.
The ticket correctly matched all six balls, 05-16-25-34-35-41, to win a prize of $2.16 million, less applicable withholding. The ticket was sold at Lucky 7 Deli, 255 Horsham Road, Horsham.
Match 6 produced another big winner on Monday, January 1, when a $560,000 jackpot was won by a ticket sold at Giant Food Store, 216 E. Fairmount St., Coopersburg, Lehigh County. The ticket correctly matched all six balls, 10-19-26-32-39-48, to win a prize of $560,000, less applicable withholding.
Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Match 6 prizes expire one year from the drawing date. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Match 6 ticket should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.
More than 71,700 other Match 6 Lotto tickets won prizes of various amounts in the December 29 and January 1 drawings. Players should check every ticket, every time, and claim lower-tier prizes at a Lottery retailer.
In the 2016-17 fiscal year, the Lottery awarded more than $130.4 million in prizes and contributed more than $52.4 million to senior benefit programs in Montgomery County. How to Play Match 6 Lotto: Players pay $2 and choose six numbers from 1 to 49 or have numbers randomly selected by computer. The computer then randomly selects an additional two sets of six numbers, for three lines of six numbers each or 18 numbers total. Players can win up to four times on each ticket – once on each of three lines (base play) and by combining all 18 numbers (combined play).
