Master Impressionist Alan Wolton Releases Small Works Paintings Online for First Time
SEDONA, Ariz., May 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- World-renowned Impressionist artist Alan Wolton, known for his captivating large-scale works of art (www.alanwolton.com), has just released three 12''x12'' paintings. This series captures the artist's love of nature on a smaller scale than the public has ever witnessed from him. They are now available for purchase online at: https://www.saatchiart.com/all?query=wolton.
Wolton's powerful impressionist style evokes emotive reactions from these new small works oil paintings.
"I love the world Alan is from. I can feel the power radiate off of the canvas in each painting, from his 12''x12''s to his 80''x120''s. It's amazing to see his talents emerge in these new paintings – collectors are in for a rare treat!" said Belinda Leigh, Owner Gallerie 505.
Wolton used his vibrant and detailed approach in this new series, to shed new light on one of his favorite subjects, water lilies. Wolton's small works include two water lily scenes – Proud Family (12"x12"), and White Water Lily and Red Pals (12"x12"). The third painting, Roses for My Sweetheart (12"x12"), was inspired by his wife.
"It was amusing to try something new and paint on small scale for this lively series. I found the brush danced in my hand when touched to the canvas and I delighted in focusing on the way the petals captured the light," said Wolton.
Wolton has received honors at the Royal Academy of London, was the Oil Painters of America Distinguished Artist of the Year (2014), and has shown paintings at prestigious venues such as The Paris Salon and many museum collections. This is the first opportunity for art collectors to get their hands on one of Wolton's distinctive small works paintings, easily online.
