MassMutual's Retirement Services Division Hosts Webinar to Help TPAs Understand Fee Disclosure Requirements
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual's Retirement Services Division recently hosted an online seminar on the interim final regulations under ERISA section 408(b)(2) for third-party administrators (TPAs) in the MassMutual network. The seminar, which focused on mandated disclosures that must be provided by certain categories of service providers to plan sponsors and their impact on TPAs, exemplifies MassMutual's commitment to helping its select network of third-party administrators effectively conduct business by helping them understand their fee disclosure requirements.
Presented by Dean Carey, assistant vice president and head of ERISA Advisory Services for MassMutual's Retirement Services Division, the online seminar emphasized service provider fee disclosure regulation and the consequences of disclosure failure.
"We truly value our select third-party administrator network and we're committed to being a valuable resource for TPAs by providing them with the tools they need to understand regulation changes and better serve plan sponsors and participants," says Mike McKenzie, corporate vice president and head of operations for MassMutual's Retirement Services Division. "Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for advisors and TPAs to conduct business and succeed in the marketplace," adds McKenzie.
"These online seminars provide valuable resources that help us understand market issues, especially as we navigate changes in regulations and fee disclosures. MassMutual's support and educational tools allow us to provide relevant and timely information to our mutual clients and referral sources. With MassMutual as a preferred provider, we can be confident in our business growth and quality of service as a third-party administrator," says Rob Wisner, president, Paragon Alliance Group, LLC, who attended the seminar.
