MassMutual Retirement Services Lends an Ear to Participants
Firm to Share VOC Research in Its Second Plan Sponsor Seminar: Participants Talk Retirement
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual's Retirement Services Division is gearing up to host its second PlanSmartSM online seminar specifically designed for retirement plan sponsors: Participants Talk Retirement.
MassMutual's live online seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Host Kris Gates, assistant vice president of customer experience marketing with MassMutual's Retirement Services Division, will share results from recent in-depth voice of the customer interviews with the firm's retirement plan participants. Specifically, the 30-minute presentation will help plan sponsors:
- Find out what participants think of their retirement plans
- Learn what areas they need help with the most
- Discover how MassMutual is using these findings to help shape the participant experience moving forward.
The presentation will be followed by a 30-minute interactive question and answer session.
"MassMutual is thrilled to share the results of this in-depth voice of the customer research with retirement plan sponsors," says Gates. "Through this research, we have gained a strong understanding around what matters most to today's participants, and in turn, are shaping the customer experience to drive deeper participant engagement and action. This informative presentation will share exactly what participants really think about and want from their workplace retirement plans, as well as show plan sponsors how MassMutual is evolving the participant experience to improve retirement readiness," adds Gates.
MassMutual's Retirement Services Division's first-ever PlanSmart online seminar, Who is Gen Y and Why It's Important to Know, took place on July 24. During the 30-minute presentation, returning guest speaker Farnoosh Torabi, independent Generation Y money coach, best-selling author and personal finance journalist, reviewed how plan sponsors can improve engagement with Gen-Y employees, communicate, incentivize, motivate and maximize productivity from Gen-Ys, and encourage Gen-Ys to save for retirement.
Post-event survey results were very positive, with 90 percent of the plan sponsors in attendance rating the online format, presenter, and information presented as Very Good (4) or Excellent (5). A free replay of the Who is Gen Y and Why It's Important to Know seminar is available for anyone who missed the live event.
Space for the upcoming "Participants Talk Retirement" seminar is prioritized to retirement plan sponsors on MassMutual's platform. MassMutual retirement plan sponsors can register by logging in to their Total Retirement Center account at https://wwwrs.massmutual.com/trc/login.asp, and accessing the registration link under the Plan Alerts section on the homepage.
