MassMutual Retirement Services Expands Presence in TPA Market

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With the recent acquisition of The Hartford's Retirement Plans Group (RPG), MassMutual's Retirement Services Division has doubled down on its Third-Party Administrator (TPA) presence. Lynn Banziruk, head of TPA market development for MassMutual, recently added two experienced veterans to the TPA sales team. In addition to Travis Matthews, TPA market director for the Central and Southern regions, Ms. Banziruk recently welcomed Echo Robinson and Kevin Catineau to her team. 

Echo Robinson is a MassMutual veteran with over 13 years of experience in the retirement plans industry. Based in Orange, Calif., Ms. Robinson is focused on growing the TPA business in the West and Southwest regions while cultivating and driving business with specialized advisors and career agents in Southern Calif. Ms. Robinson first joined MassMutual in 2010 as sales director covering Southern Calif. and has since been recognized for exceeding sales results two times running. Prior to joining MassMutual, she most recently served as regional sales director and carries extensive TPA experience. Ms. Robinson holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Redlands University, FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations, as well as her Life, Health and Annuity licenses.

Kevin Catineau also joined the TPA sales team to serve as TPA market director for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Catineau most recently served as regional sales director, covering Maine, N.H. and Vt. Mr. Catineau's 18 years in the industry, which includes experience as operations manager, sales desk manager and advisor, gives him a unique perspective on the retirement plans business that will help drive more TPA sales. Mr. Catineau holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Saint Michaels College. He also holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 26 registrations, Insurance licenses in N.H., Maine and Vt., and the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation. Mr. Catineau is based in Portsmouth, N.H.
