MassMutual's focus on five key areas of risk is designed to deliver consistent performance over the long-term. Its 360-degree risk management process uses a quantitative scorecard as a tool in balancing key investment risks in a variety of market environments.
The Select Destination Retirement Series leverages MassMutual's financial strength and comprehensive investment management capabilities, and the company's multi-manager approach taps into investment expertise from more than 20 firms representing a wide variety of investment management capabilities.
"We are excited about the opportunity to provide additional offerings that are appropriate for retirement investors across the target retirement date spectrum," adds Wietsma. "We believe the Select Destination Retirement Series provides a unique and compelling solution for plan sponsors and their advisors who seek a Qualified Default Investment Alternative that offers both competitive performance and a thoughtful design built to address the fiduciary requirements unique to today's market and regulatory environment."
