Massage Envy Spa and the Arthritis Foundation of Northern California Host Fourth Annual Healing Hands for Arthritis Event

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Massage Envy Spas in Northern California have joined forces with the Arthritis Foundation to host the fourth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis, a one-day national event to build awareness and raise funds to fight arthritis. On Sept. 17, 2014, the more than 80 Massage Envy Spas in Sacramento and the Bay Area will donate $10 from every one-hour massage or facial to the Arthritis Foundation. Since 2011, this annual one-day nationwide event has raised over $2M for the Arthritis Foundation.

All proceeds donated will support the Arthritis Foundation's nationwide efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis. Murad®, Massage Envy Spa's exclusive skin care partner, will also donate 10 percent of all sales from its products sold at Massage Envy Spa locations during the event to the Arthritis Foundation. Additionally, Wyndmere and BioFreeze will donate 10 percent of all sales of their products from Massage Envy Spa locations.
