Mary MacLaren Appointed Executive Director and Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Executives' Club of Chicago
CHICAGO, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Executives' Club of Chicago announced today that President and Chief Executive Officer Kaarina Koskenalusta will step down effective today. The Board of Directors has appointed Mary MacLaren to serve as Executive Director and Acting President and Chief Executive Officer while the Board works with executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates to conduct a worldwide search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer.

MacLaren previously served as Chief of Staff of the Executives' Club from May 2009 to July 2010, where she was responsible for managing the Club's employees and planning and executing more than 60 annual programs. In this role, she became deeply familiar with all aspects of the organization's operations. Prior to joining the Executives' Club, MacLaren served as Vice President, Direct Marketing Services and Vice President, Product Operations for Standard Rate and Data Services (SRDS), a global provider of media information for the advertising and marketing industry. She also worked as First Vice President, Customer Service, Agency Service, Conservation and Training for Mutual of Omaha. MacLaren's career also includes more than 20 years of service with the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Colonel. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Penn State University and a master's degree in public administration from Auburn University. She is a Trustee of Saint Xavier University.
