Throughout the course of her education and training, Swift attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Bowling Green State University. She then went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Administration with a specialization in Healthcare from Central Michigan University, and then completed a 12-month internship at St. Vincent Medical Center.
To further her professional development, Swift is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she volunteers her time to a number of soup kitchens and the ASPCA. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with family.
