SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL), a leader in storage, networking, and connectivity semiconductor solutions, today announced that Gary Ignatin has joined Marvell as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Gary's primary responsibilities at Marvell will be corporate development, long-term strategy, and leading strategic growth initiatives -- all areas in which he has deep experience.

Most recently, Gary spent 16 years at Broadcom Corporation. As Vice President of Corporate Development, he led all M&A activities and was involved in over 30 transactions. He also served in a number of legal roles including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Previously Gary held positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Latham & Watkins.
Gary earned a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
