BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin Schmidt has been awarded a six-month internship at AutoCom Associates, a Michigan-based public relations agency providing communications services and counsel to businesses in the global automotive industry.
Schmidt will assist agency clients with editorial services, event planning and media relations. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Kassel, where he currently is pursuing a master's degree in political science.
Prior to joining AutoCom, Schmidt worked as a student assistant in corporate communications at Wintershall Holding GmbH for two years. He previously had worked as freelance writer for "Hessische/Niedersachsische Allgemeine" (HNA), a newspaper in Kassel, Germany, and served as intern in the office of Ulrike Gottschalck, an elected representative of the German Bundestag in Berlin.
A native of Kassel, Schmidt currently resides in Royal Oak, Michigan.
