Martha K. Martin, B.A., B.A., is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a 2014-2015 Woman of The Year
DALLAS, Jan. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Martha K. Martin, B.A., B.A., is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a 2014-2015 Woman of The Year in the field of Finance. She has recently retired from her position as SVP and Statewide Manager with Frost Bank after 31 years of excellence working for two financial institutions.
As Senior Vice President and Statewide Manager, Martha worked closely in the areas of public finance and public funds, educating, creating legal templates and consulting with and for governmental and non-profits. She serves on the SFA Advisory Board for the School of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences and is on the Board of The Daughters of World War II.
Martha maintains affiliation with several other organizations including Texas Women in Public Finance, Texas Association of Counties, County Treasurers Association of Texas, Government Finance Officers of Texas, Government Treasurers of Texas, the Texas Municipal League, and the National Association of Professional Women. In addition to her position at the bank, Martha teaches accredited banking classes for the governmental organizations of which she is a member. Furthermore, Martha was selected as VIP Woman of The Year from the National Association of Professional Women in 2014.
Martha received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Languages from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Martha enjoys history, fishing, hiking, reading and gardening in her spare time.
