Adestra, which recently announced a $7.2 million investment of equity funding from UK-based BGF (Business Growth Fund) to help drive its U.S. expansion, boasts more than 500 clients worldwide across a number of key sectors. As part of its membership in the coalition, Adestra's vice president of insights Ryan Phelan also has been named to the ESPC board of directors.
"Email is experiencing a fantastic and well-founded resurgence as the cornerstone of a brand's digital communications strategy," Phelan said. "That's why the ESPC is more important than ever. Their efforts to share industry-leading best practices and emerging email deliverability standards will help all marketers and email service providers improve the trust, performance and reliability of their campaigns. We're honored to be part of this prestigious group."
In order to be granted membership in the ESPC, companies must demonstrate a clear commitment to appropriate email marketing strategies, to uphold industry best practices, and to develop and employ appropriate technology solutions. ESPC's experts closely reviewed Adestra's experience in both email marketing software and its collaborative approach to helping clients build long-term relationships with their customers.
"We're very happy to have Adestra join the coalition and to have Ryan's thought leadership on our board," said Jim Campbell, Director at the ESPC. "For more than a decade, they have made significant investments in both their software platform and the customer experience. I think they will bring a unique and valuable perspective to ESPC."
