Marshall & Ilsley Corporation Announces Dividend on Common Stock and Senior Preferred Stock, Series B
MILWAUKEE, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE: MI) (M&I) today announced its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share on its common stock. The dividend is payable on December 10, 2010, to common stock shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2010.
In addition, the Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $21,437,500 in the aggregate on its Senior Preferred Stock, Series B. The Senior Preferred Stock, Series B was purchased from M&I by the U.S. Treasury as part of the U.S. Treasury's Capital Purchase Program. The Preferred Stock dividend is payable on November 15, 2010, to the shareholder of record at the close of business on November 1, 2010.
