Dr. Marrone explains why Dr. Stewart is the choice for this important role, "Dr. Stewart is an acclaimed, world-wide authority on beneficial microorganisms that interact with plants and has been recognized by numerous professional organizations for her research excellence. Dr. Stewart is eager to assist MBI as it seeks to expand its product pipeline and commercial offerings in the U.S. and global markets. "I'm thrilled to be joining MBI as they have always been on the forefront of innovation in bio-based pesticides. My duties to lead an already-successful program for in-licensing new technology, oversee the science for the development of new products from their internal discovery and manage a growing patent portfolio will give me the chance to leverage the exceptional science of MBI into a formidable competitive advantage in the marketplace."
