Marriott and Concur to Deliver E-Folio Data Directly to Business Travelers
Detailed Folio Data Automatically Downloaded to Expense Reports
REDMOND, Wash. and BETHESDA, Md., Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Concur (Nasdaq: CNQR), the world's leading provider of on-demand Employee Spend Management services, and Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) today announced that Concur® Travel & Expense clients can now automatically receive detailed folio data from participating Marriott hotels. The new service enables folios and e-receipts to be downloaded directly into the customer's expense report.
Participating brands include Marriott Hotels and Resorts, JW Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, Fairfield Inn and Suites, TownePlace Suites and Marriott Vacation Club International resorts throughout the U.S., Canada and select properties in the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America.
By automatically sending e-Folio data directly to Concur's expense reporting system, Marriott enables its customers to:
- Eliminate paper hotel receipts, making expense reporting easier and helping drive compliance with corporate travel policies.
- Enjoy fast and accurate access to travel spend for auditing and analysis, including full expense details and line level e-folio data.
Concur e-receipts, exclusively available to Concur clients, are complete electronic versions of the paper folio receipts traditionally delivered to hotel guests upon check-out. Concur Travel & Expense automatically captures this data along with itinerary data entered at the time of booking and corporate card charges incurred by the employee. The resulting Smart Expense™ is a trusted transaction that the employee does not need to edit and the company does not need to audit.
"We are highly focused on creating innovative solutions for our customers and providing exceptional levels of service across all of our Marriott brands," said David Townshend, senior vice president, global sales, Marriott International. "Concur's e-folio and e-receipts provide important new tools that will help our customers streamline the expense report process, improve data tracking and management and ease some of the stress associated with business travel."
"Companies are looking for ways to make the most of every travel dollar spent, while still helping their business travelers be more productive on the road," said Rajeev Singh, president and COO of Concur. "By leveraging the power of Concur Connect and working with leading travel providers like Marriott, Concur continues to deliver the innovative services that help make business travelers' lives easier while helping companies better manage their travel spend."
Through Concur® Connect – the global program that connects suppliers from around the world and provides clients exclusive access to services otherwise unavailable though traditional travel programs – Marriott joins a growing list of travel suppliers that not only feed complete electronic folio data in the form of e-receipts directly into Concur Travel & Expense, but also provide Concur clients with broad access to travel inventory.
