Marketron's First User Symposium Leads the Industry Forward With a Hands On Workshop
Dallas Standalone Event Offered Users Media Management Best Practices, Tools and Insight into Marketron's New Offerings
HAILEY, Idaho, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron, the leading provider of software solutions and business services for the media industry, today hosted its first user symposium at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. This event gave media organization professionals a first look at the company's new offerings for the radio industry and best practices in using the technology. Attendees ranged from top-level industry executives to traffic managers and user-level Marketron clients, all gathered to learn more on how Marketron is advancing the media industry.
"This event was a big success. We feel that it is important to do more than just exhibit on a show floor," said Jeff Haley, President and CEO of Marketron. "Our customers were able to spend a full day exploring all the new solutions Marketron offers and to see live how they all can work seamlessly together to create a more efficient enterprise for broadcasters."
Attendees explored the latest innovations, features and capabilities of the Marketron Mediascape program and learned how to greatly enhance the functionality, performance and quality of their back-office operations. Marketron offered six different sessions at this year's event, which provided attendees with strategies and ideas that can be readily implemented in their markets.
In addition to the previously announced Symposium topics, Marketron also unveiled their new MyMarketron product, a unique service offering and online community to its users that was announced in the media yesterday. Marketron spokespeople also hinted at the announcement of a new product that is scheduled to be available at tomorrow's opening day of the Radio Show in Dallas.
"Our relationship with our traffic, billing and programming providers needs to evolve beyond just being a software vendor, to a strategic partnership aligned with our long term business objectives. The User Symposium complemented that strategic relationship, as Marketron demonstrated live and robust tools for our organization," said Kurt David, Chief Operating Officer of Eagle Communications. "The Marketron User Symposium went above and beyond in bringing Marketron's solutions to life by creating a tangible conversation around Marketron solutions and their position in the industry as a whole."
