Marketron Releases New Third Party Payment Processing Tool

HAILEY, Idaho, Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron, the leading provider of business software solutions and services for the media industry, has released a new third party payment processing tool called Payments. This is part of the Marketron Traffic 7.2 revenue management system.

Payments is a service that enables payments made by advertisers and agencies through any third party payment processor, such as lockboxes, banks and credit cards to be automatically imported into Marketron A/R. It eliminates the time consuming process of manually entering and applying individual third party payments, improves accuracy and creates a more efficient overall workflow for a station's business office.

In addition to Payments, there are several other new developments in Marketron 7.2 including: eInvoicing for multiple stations, improvements to the A/R menu, and the ability to un-generate a log, as well as the addition of a convenience fee option to the PayNow solution. Marketron Traffic Version 7.2 along with Payments and all enhanced features will be available in wide release later this fall.
