Growth of Toronto Office and New Focus on Canadian Sales Efforts Increase International Opportunities
HAILEY, Idaho, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron, the leading provider of software solutions and business services for the media industry, today announced the appointment of Renee Roth as Vice President of International Sales. In this position, Renee will lead the Canadian sales efforts and increase Marketron's international presence in the company's newly expanded Toronto office. Renee brings over twenty years of experience in radio sales and leadership to the company. Prior to joining Marketron, Renee was the General Sales Manager and Market Manager for Corus Radio Toronto, and has over 16 years of high level radio sales expertise and management prowess.
"Renee's understanding of the radio business and the priorities of station management allow her to integrate Marketron solutions with a clear vision for customer growth, value and results," said Susie Hedrick, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Marketron. "We are so pleased to have Renee join the Marketron team and bring her unique experience and expertise to the company."
Throughout her longtime broadcast industry background, Renee has managed sales teams, launched radio stations, trained sellers and was an award winning seller for 6 consecutive years. Focusing on client relationships and solutions to grow top line media revenue, Renee created a software program in 2007 for her radio advertisers out of the need to address challenges that she and her team faced on a daily basis. In 2010, the product evolved into a unique client portal that has changed the way advertisers do business with radio stations, known today as Marketron's Media Connect.
"I am honored to join Marketron and the exceptional Canadian team in Toronto," said Renee Roth, Vice President of International Sales at Marketron. "This is an exciting time for Marketron and the broadcast industry, and I look forward to working with the company's Canadian and international clients to bring them world class solutions and services."
In addition to Renee's appointment to Vice President of International Sales, Marketron is also fostering international growth by moving and expanding its Canadian headquarters in Toronto, Ontario.
