Mark McIntosh Recognized by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

SYOSSET, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark McIntosh, of West Covina, California, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of entertainment.

ABOUT MARK McINTOSH

Born and raised in West Covina, California, Mark got the acting bug as a kid, writing plays and parts for his neighborhood friends.  Throughout his teens, his versatility branched out to composing music, songs and playing a multitude of instruments.  In college, he became a tennis player, spent 15 years teaching tennis at Industry Hills Tennis Club and Claremont Tennis Club, majored in mathematics and spent four years in medical school.  But throughout his range of other achievements, Mark spent the majority of his time in independent film.  Mark began his "public" acting career in 2004, following his attending the New York Film Academy, during which he appeared in commercials and spent time filming auditions.  From there, he branched out into independent film productions.  His films include, "Interim Friends," "The Saints of Four Mile," and "Blind".  His television credits include, "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Medium."  In April of 2009, Mark was presented at the Las Vegas International Film Festival, where he was acknowledged as a Co-Executive Producer of the film, "I Am Not Matt Damon," a film in which he also acted.  He is currently the owner and creator of Hawk Productions, a media and entertainment company, providing production and media services.  Mark is responsible for the overall company operations and still acts and sings.  He received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from California Polytechnic College in 1981.  He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and currently resides in Hacienda Heights, California.
