Mark LoRusso Joins Ryan as Principal in the Firm's Phoenix, Arizona Office

DALLAS, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, the leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada, today announced that Mark LoRusso has joined the Firm as a Principal in its rapidly expanding Phoenix, Arizona office.  Mr. LoRusso is a recognized leader in multistate taxation, with a specialization in property tax consulting services for large campuses and heavy industrial, complex manufacturing, and centrally assessed properties.

Over the past 23 years, Mr. LoRusso has achieved broad industry recognition for strategic thought leadership, having successfully generated and pursued multiple tax issues at tax boards and tax courts across the United States and Canada.  He has also successfully prosecuted property tax assessment appeals representing several billion dollars in assets.

Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. LoRusso served as the Western Region Vice President of Operations for a large North American tax consulting firm with responsibility for all regional operations, including business development, issue development, and service delivery for property tax, income tax, and sales and use tax consulting.  Mr. LoRusso has achieved the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) designation, which recognizes professional achievement and distinction in property taxation, and is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, as well as the Appraisal Institute.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
