Multiprotocol Technology Delivers Enhanced Functionality; Solves Interoperability Challenges
TORONTO, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- MARK IV IVHS, a global technology leader and innovator of Intelligent Transportation Systems, will be showcasing several industry solutions including its recently introduced JANUS® Multiprotocol Reader at The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) 78th Annual Meeting and Exhibition.
The JANUS Multiprotocol Reader incorporates the company's core JANUS technology with multiprotocol "plug n play" reader modules capable of supporting MARK IV's industry leading active 256-bit Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) transponders as well as commonly used backscatter protocols including ISO 10374/ATA, ISO 18000-6B and ISO 180000-6C.
The JANUS Multiprotocol Reader bridges the interoperability gap between diverse RFID technologies used for electronic toll collection (ETC) and other ITS applications such as Automatic Equipment Identification and Electronic Vehicle Registration.
