Mark Herron Joins People's United Bank As Chief Marketing Officer
BRIDGEPORT, Conn., April 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- People's United Bank today announced the appointment of Mark Herron as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for the strategic positioning of the Company and overseeing marketing, customer research, product development, analytics and engagement efforts across the People's United Financial, Inc. enterprise.
Herron brings more than 30 years of experience to his position. Previously he served as Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales Manager at BB&T Corporation, Winston-Salem, NC, chiefly responsible for oversight of the company's enterprise sales process for more than 10,000 sales associates in over 35 separate lines of business. During his career, he has provided leadership for CRM, marketing automation, sales analytics, digital lead generation, marketing modeling and marketing operations staff.
