Mark Addy Named COO of Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT Inc.

CINCINNATI, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Edison - ARC Shopping Center REIT, Inc. ("the Company") announced that on November 1, 2010, R. Mark Addy was named Chief Operating Officer by the Company's Board of Directors.  Mr. Addy will also serve as President of Phillips Edison NTR LLC.

As COO, Mr. Addy will be responsible for integrating the asset management services provided by Phillips Edison & Company, a co-sponsor of the Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT, Inc, including acquisitions, due diligence, leasing and property management, as well as presenting the Company to the investment community.

Mr. Addy served as COO of Phillips Edison & Company from 2004 to 2010 and as Senior Vice President from 2002 to 2004. Prior to joining Phillips Edison, he practiced law with Santen & Hughes in the areas of commercial real estate, financing and leasing, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law from 1987 to 2002. He served as President of Santen & Hughes from 1996 to 2002. Mr. Addy received his bachelor's degree in environmental science and chemistry from Bowling Green State University in 1984 and his law degree from the University of Toledo in 1987.
