Marion Elks to Start Elks Alliance Health & Wellness Program

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Marion Elks will provide hygiene products to poor and low-income families.

Elks Alliance Health & Wellness Program will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Marion Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Marion Elks Lodge No. 800 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
