Marine Corps Association & Foundation to Launch "MCA&F Corps Connection" Mobile Application

QUANTICO, Va., Feb. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCA&F), in cooperation with MetroStar Systems, Inc. will launch a new mobile application (app) entitled "MCA&F Corps Connection". The free app will be released through the Apple App Store in early March. This app will be supported on the iPhone; with an Android compatible version to follow.

The app enhances the connectivity for Marines, Sailors, and friends of the Corps who want to stay abreast of current Marine Corps-related news, announcements, and MCA&F programs. MCA&F Corps Connection will stream updates from the MCA&F website including: Corps Daily News, the professional event schedule, MCA&F blogs, Today in History, and more. The app will also include links to the latest Marine Administrative Message (MARADMINs), All Marine Corps Activities (ALMARs), and other official messages issued by Marine Corps Headquarters. Additionally, the app will allow users access to all MCA&F social networks to include: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Together We Served, and MySpace.
