Marilyn Berry Thompson Named Non-Executive Chairman Of MWW's Washington, DC Office
WASHINGTON, July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW (www.mww.com) announced today that Marilyn Berry Thompson has been named non-executive chairman of the company's Washington, DC office. Thompson, who joined the firm five years ago and has until recently served as its executive vice president and general manager since 2009, will continue to provide senior strategic counsel to the office and will actively manage several of its clients.

Prior to joining MWW, Thompson ran her own private practice for over two decades. She headed the State of New Jersey's Washington office for 12 years under three Governors, and also headed the Coalition of Northeastern Governors' Washington office.
Thompson is known for her effectiveness in securing federal support and recognition of her clients, with a track record of more than $1.5 billion in specific strategic plan support for them. She is also committed to her representation of several educational institutions and nationally prominent organizations dedicated to minority education, economic development, the national campaign to advance STEM Scholarship support and a diverse health and STEM workforce.
