Maria Audin is recognized by Continental Who's Who
ROCK TAVERN, N.Y., Aug. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Maria Audin is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Historical Research and Archaeology.
Audin is the president of Archaeology and Historic Resource Services, LLC, which specializes in cultural resource services. She has worked in her current position for the past six years.
Archaeology and Historic Resource Services, LLC (AHRS), is a Small Business Entity (SBE) based in Orange County, New York. The business provides a full range of affordable, high-quality cultural resource services that range from due diligence to archaeological and historic surveys to potential mitigation, including archaeology, architectural history, historic research, historic preservation and federal and state compliance services. AHRS works alongside clients, regulators and site managers to create a plan to manage risk while optimizing project schedules. Audin and her team are dedicated to professional qualification standards of all cultural resource work and mitigation.
In addition to her work at AHRS, Audin serves as a part-time adjunct professor at Orange County Community College, where she teaches Microsoft Office skills.
Audin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from William Patterson University of New Jersey. She went on to earn a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education, also from William Patterson University, and completed a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation at Goucher College.
Audin is also a member of American Cultural Resources Association and volunteers her time as the business director of the Association for Preservation Technology's Technical Committee. In this capacity, she researches funding opportunities for OSCAR, the Online Tool for Historic Preservation, Sustainability and Resiliency. Her article entitled "Exploring the Viability of Franchising in the CRM Services Industry" was published in the American Cultural Resource Association Edition, Volume 20-3, Summer 2014. The National Association of Professional Women recognized her as a member of the VIP Woman of the Year Circle. When not working, she enjoys travel as well as camping in Maine, New Hampshire and the Adirondack Mountains.
