Marco Stefanini Among Brazil Business Leaders to Participate in CEO Forum Meeting with President Obama
Founder of Brazil-based IT outsourcer to join Brazil's President for meeting at White House to discuss growing partnership with the US and Brazil
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stefanini (www.stefanini.com), today announced that on April 9th, the CEO and founder Marco Stefanini will join other Brazil business leaders for the US-Brazil CEO Forum at the White House with President Barack Obama.
The group's meeting with President Obama and Brazil President Dilma Rousseff is part of an ongoing dialogue around the growing partnership between the United States and Brazil.
Created in 2007, the US-Brazil CEO Forum works to promote trade between Brazil and the United States, with representatives of the government and the private sector of both countries. The CEO Forum has 10 Brazilian CEO's and 10 United States CEO's. As a member of the Forum, Mr. Stefanini represents Brazil's IT industry and is a member of the sub-committees responsible for Education and Innovation initiatives to further the exchange of best practices between Brazil and the US.
The White House meeting comes on the heels of Marco Stefanini's meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel last month. Stefanini was one of three representatives from Brazil invited by the organizers of the CeBIT trade show and conference to meet with the German leader. Brazil was the partner country and the guest of honor of the 2012 CeBIT conference.
"Brazil has a unique story to share with the global community – centered on the dynamic economic market, the vibrancy, and the creativity of our country – and it is my honor to represent an important part of that story – our IT industry – in these meetings with world leaders," said Stefanini.
Brazil-based Stefanini – a global provider of onshore and nearshore IT consulting, integration and development, and outsourcing services, was recognized by a number of industry-watchers in 2011, spotlighting its emergence as a new leader in IT outsourcing.
