ARLINGTON, Va., March 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit fighting for the health of moms and babies, today announced the appointment of Andrew S. Coccari, Jr. as Chief Development Officer, responsible to transform its fundraising activities and to strengthen, broaden, and diversify its revenue mix.
Coccari, an experienced senior executive with significant success in leading growth and business transformations, will work with organizational leaders to champion strategic, data-informed decision to grow and diversify revenue. Coccari will serve as a catalyst in strengthening a culture steeped in donor-centric philanthropy, and overseeing plans to support annual fundraising goals.

Prior to joining March of Dimes, Coccari was Vice President General Manager for North America at BRP Inc., where he was responsible for running BRP's $2 billion powersports business. Coccari also previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the world's largest nonprofit dedicated to fighting blood cancers. While there, he led campaign, marketing, direct revenue, ecommerce, and corporate development. He has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and his Bachelors of Science from the State University of New York.
