Head of talent agency William Morris Endeavor's music division, Geiger's keynote will focus on "20 Years of Pain: No More Fooling Around," as he outlines what he sees as the definitive future of the music business in the digital age.
During his keynote in Cannes on Sunday 2 February 2014, Geiger will share a powerful message with the Midem audience, challenging the industry to embrace change as he presents a new model for the music business. He will warn that labels and publishers will have to adapt, or they will totally disappear five years from now.
After his keynote, Geiger will invite key executives and members of the audience to debate his uncompromising analysis and look for sustainable solutions to keep the industry on track for growth.
