The National Black Chamber of Commerce announces celebrity guests' and panelists' names for its 21st annual convention
NEW YORK, July 17, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has partnered with government, business, entertainment and fashion industry leaders to present its 21st annual convention, from July 24-26 at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, FL. The theme of this year's convention will be Innovation: Growth, Profit, & Prosperity.
In addition to the convention's primary panels, the Afashionmind Panel and Impact Business Panel will take place on Thursday, July 25, and feature distinguished guest speakers. Moderated by VH1's The Gossip Game star and co-creator Sharon Carpenter, the Afashionmind Panel will highlight the business sphere of fashion and provide tips on fashion industry entrepreneurship. Featured speakers will include J. Alexander Martin, FUBU cofounder and Afashionmind show host; Harry and Thomas Alford, LacrossePlayground.com cofounders; Nova Lorraine, founder and designer of Nova Lorraine and editor-in-chief of Raine Magazine; and Randy Krupnick, owner of Posner Cosmetics.
The Impact Business Panel will emphasize how to harness business potential and turn ideas into sustainable businesses. Hosted by entertainment manager Keymanna Paulas, CEO of Keymanna Management and cofounder of Music Biz 101, panel speakers will include entertainment executive and entrepreneur Marc Byers, founder of Rockstar Entertainment; and Bernard Bronner, president of Bronner Bros. and publisher of Upscale Magazine.
