Mar-Bal, Inc. Executive Named to Board of Directors for the American Composites Manufacturers Association
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio, Dec. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) recently selected Steven Balogh, Vice-President of Mar-Bal, Inc., to join its volunteer Board of Directors. Balogh will serve a three-year term through July 2014.
ACMA, the world's largest trade group representing the composites industry, represents 850 of approximately 3,000 composites manufacturers and suppliers to the industry. In the U.S. alone, the composites industry employs about 550,000 people and generates almost $70 billion in revenues per year. ACMA provides strong, proactive leadership in technical, government and regulatory affairs.

Balogh oversees Mar-Bal's state of the art Research and Development Center and has led the pioneering efforts to introduce innovative Thermoset plastic materials which have resulted in high demand for Mar-Bal material solutions. Since he started with Mar-Bal, Inc. in 1993, his focus on the development of new materials and production techniques for composite Compounds has enabled the company to grow significantly in sales, technologies and innovations. Steven directly manages the procurement functions at all three (3) Mar-Bal manufacturing facilities in the United States and he is a Six Sigma black belt. Steven attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
